Partnerships

The Angel Centre has formed a partnership with Tonbridge Sports Association which has the following objectives.

Tonbridge Sports Association

The sports clubs of Tonbridge formed an Association in May 1920.  It was originally formed for the purpose of controlling sports grounds in Tonbridge and now its role is that of Sports Council.

Its objectives are:

1. to promote and encourage all forms of organised sport in Tonbridge and surrounding areas
2. to work with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council in the administration of grounds and facilities
3. to act as the representative of sports clubs in dealing with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council and other bodies.

The Sports Associations' continuing dialogue with clubs and the Council enables considerable sports participation in the area throughout the year.
